Honestly I don't personally know many artists so I dont know their personal real lives as all I've seen is what they allow online.
Case in point is JG Quintel who created The Regular Show. On his twitter is only things to do with his show and it's not much as it has ended now. But I do know he has another show in the works that he'd been working on for who knows how long. Also his personal life is certainly locked away as there are no photos of his kid on google. I'd say he's just not a big social media guy and that he was lucky that Cartoon Network probably took care of most of the transmedia for the regular show in the past. Though he has done the odd interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiBa_KauXXg

| His new show coming out soon. More for adults. |
"The key to making a quality story" says Quintel:
Act 1 25%
Start a character in a state of equilibrium
Then define their goals,
ie they want something
they need something
they are denied something, etc.
Act 2 50%
They start their journey to solve their problem.
This starts small - excalates towards climax.
Act 3 25%
The story climaxes.
The character solves problem, and is returned to a new state of equilibrium.
