I already entered this piece from 2015 because it looks like an alien world already with a castle!
I started out by sketching on paper my idea for a medieval alien who might live in this castle:
She has a bit of attitude and is bored by all the lame events she has to be at.Next was the colour scheme. What speaks to me as the most alien?
I went with the royal red and purple skin combination, possibly because they're my favourite colours.
Next is doing a landscape background for this character.
